Born in 1977 and raised in the Central District of Seattle, Wa, DJ PO’LO was introduced to music at a very early age by his father who listened to everything from EWF and George Benson to Kenny G and his smooth jazz contemporaries.  This love of music only intensified when the early to mid 80’s introduced electronic sounds and the birth of hip hop as a culture.  Under the tutelage of NW icon DJ Kun Luv and local celebrity DJs Hittman and Lovesick Larry throughout the 90’s into the new millennium, he perfected his own sound which included playing party anthems of all music genres infused with his brand of turntable wizardry.  His appreciation for the old school and his willingness to embrace new school music and technology has allowed Dj PO’LO to reach all types of crowds and age groups with his interpretation of rocking parties at some of the NW hottest clubs, lounges, after-parties, and events
